Building Brands. Transforming Businesses. Creating Value.

A business strategist, investor and operator with more than four decades of experience in retail, energy, workplace solutions, loyalty, governance and business transformation. From helping launch Petro-Points to building one of Canada's highest-performing commercial interiors dealerships, and now advancing StoriBot AI, I've spent my career turning strong ideas into measurable results.

What I do

01

Strategic Leadership

I help owners and leadership teams identify what is holding their business back, sharpen their positioning and establish the KPIs needed to drive sustainable growth.

02

Business Transformation

My approach combines field-level operating experience, financial discipline and customer insight. Practical execution, not theory.

03

StoriBot AI

As a partner in StoriBot, I help businesses uncover the gap between the value they create and the story the market understands, then turn that insight into positioning, content and commercial results.

The Guide

Every hero needs someone who has already walked the road

The owner is always the hero. What is usually missing is not courage, it is a guide who has run the route before and can hand over the map without taking the wheel.

The Call

Every owner meets the moment

Growth stalls. Margin thins. The market stops repeating your story back to you. The call to adventure in business rarely arrives as opportunity. It arrives as friction.

The Guide

You are the hero, not me

The founder is Luke. The CEO is Frodo. My role is the one that shows up with a map, a plan and forty years of scar tissue. I have run the routes: fuel retail, loyalty, commercial interiors, boardrooms and turnarounds.

The Plan

Clarity, then KPIs, then execution

We name what is not working, define what makes you genuinely valuable, and set the handful of measures that matter. Simple enough for the floor. Rigorous enough for the board.

The Return

A business worth telling a story about

Positioning the market understands, numbers the owner trusts, and a leadership team that knows exactly what to do on Monday morning.

The chapters

A hero's journey, in five acts

Four decades of operating, buying, building and chairing. Every chapter left behind something a client can use.

  1. 01

    Chapter One · 1982 - 1995

    The oil years

Gulf Oil and then Petro-Canada, learning the trade from the forecourt up. Pricing, supply, network economics and the discipline of running a business where a single cent per litre decides the year.

Clients get an operator who reads a P&L the way a mechanic reads an engine.

  2. 02

    Chapter Two · 1995 - 2001

    Building Petro-Points

Part of the original launch team behind one of the country's best known loyalty programs, turning a fuel transaction into a relationship worth returning for.

Clients get a loyalty and retention playbook built by someone who wrote one from nothing.

  3. 03

    Chapter Three · 2001 - 2018

Owner and president, Contemporary Office Interiors

Bought a dealership, rebuilt the culture, and grew it into one of the highest performing commercial interiors businesses in the country. Payroll, pipeline, tough calls and better years.

Clients get someone who has carried the risk personally, not advised on it from a distance.

  4. 04

    Chapter Four · 2010 - Today

    The boardroom

President of the Network Dealers Association, board chair, governance leader and advisor to founders and CEOs working through succession, growth and transition.

Clients get a chair who keeps the room honest and the agenda pointed at value.

  5. 05

    Chapter Five · Today

    Partner and investor, StoriBot AI

Closing the gap between the value a business creates and the story the market actually understands, using AI to find the narrative hiding inside the numbers.

Clients get positioning that sells, and proof that it moved the metrics.
